Not sure obsessed has anything to do with it. Imo both are terrible footballers diop done ok as he did on Sunday but he’s been dreadful in the last few weeks. As for Arthur he’s just a terrible terrible footballer. If he has the odd game where he’s not totally shit happy to say so even a broken watch is right twice a day. Wouldn’t say he played well wasn’t on long first real involvement he tried to cross it from inside the box and nearly hit the opposite corner flag but also got an assist so I’d put that in the not absolute shit bracket. Hope that clears things up.

Good performance albeit against one of the worst teams I’ve ever seen in the prem tbh it should of been 5 or 6. Thought Lanzini and cresswell were excellent, Bowen will get the plaudits but he missed a lot of easy chances.
Probably the only gripe against last night was the standard of finishing and that’s been an issue for a large part of the season. If Bowen can improve this part of his game he could move into that bracket of elite players who play that position the like of sterling mane son salah who score 20+ goals a season. It wasn’t just him though Lanzini Antonio vlasic all had chances I don’t think one of them hit the target.
Both fullback were very good and you wouldn’t say either centre half was bad but they both scare the shit out of me. If we can bag three points Sunday we will be in a very strong position and if we can add to the squad before the Man Utd game and get Zouma back I’d fancy us up there.
Not sure I can cope with all this optimism it’s starting to feel weird

That's neither complaining about being fourth nor complaing about people complaining about being fourth..
Like me Nick is complaining that, despite being fus ourth and playing really well, people are slagging off certain players beyond what could be described as normal match commentary.
As I said, people are bitching about Bowen because he can't finish like Jimmy Greaves and about Dawson and Diop because our second string CBs aren't Terry and Ferdinand. To a certain extent, I've been guilty of this myself, in slagging Johnson at LB, but at least I've been constructive in praising him highly at RB and LWB.
Of course, a couple of players ARE quite poor, Masuaku for one (God knows what Moyes sees in him). But even he seems to give it his best shot.
A lot of people seem to just like bitching about nothing.

We did alright last night. Played some really good passing football in spells. Other than the iffy 10 mins in the 2nd half it was easy.
Cresswell and Coufel were very good as were Fornals and Bowen.
4th and people complaining. I can only assume they are new to West Ham or on the wind up.

I was disappointed that Moyes brought Yarmalenko on at the end. With the game won, I felt that he could have given Okoflex a few minutes

I could easily slip into a bit of a moan about the luck going our way when they hit the post at 1-0 but the luck went their way in spades and on another day we’d have had 4 or 5. Not bad with a lot of key players out.

Bit chilly getting home last night but at least being crisp and dry beats the recent dampness.
As for the game we did not, and needed not, play very well to beat this Norwich side. Good to keep another clean sheet and let’s hope we do the same on Sunday though we will be up against a better Leeds eleven than last time. Our eleven will be stronger than the Cup game simply by having Cresswell back.

Our 'make do and manage' XI for this is marked improve of out 1st choice XI of 2 seasons ago we are WINNING and still people are moaning.

Norwich obviously had a strategy to kick the fuck out of our forwards which worked up to a point, Bowen’s class made the difference.

It's 12th Jan, we're 4th in the table and past the 36 points safety target whilst barely into the transfer window.
I know, I'll come on WHO and moan because our second best player at the moment, a wide attacker, doesn't finish as well as Jimmy Greaves and our 3rd and 4th choice centre halves aren't as good as Terry and Ferdinand
